I’ll tell you a story.

My stories travel with me from the moment they are conceived to the time they are shared. In their journey, these stories speak to me, take form in my head, and inhabit my thoughts, then, they become an entity that lives within me and prepares to emerge through my voice.

I’ve found stories in the subway, in the silence of a child, in a swimming pool filled with strangers, and while walking with my dog along the East River. I have painted and sculpted these stories, and now I photograph them, write them, and tell them to small and large audiences. These stories populate my memories and my daily life. I live inside my craft. I am my stories. Storytelling lives in and with me since the time I can remember.
